What you’ll do Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Document patient medical histories, vital signs, and treatment plans in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and paper charts. Manage patient records with precision, including documentation review and medical coding as necessary. Sterilize and clean dental tools and medical areas. Basic qualifications Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting, showcasing strong chairside assisting skills. Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program with active hygiene license Minimum 2 years of hygiene experience Team- oriented with excellent communication Preferred qualifications Proficiency in Dentrix software for efficient patient management. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and the ability to interpret results accurately.
