Dental Assistant: We are hoping to expand our amazing dental team by welcoming a dental assistant and/or sterilization technician. Whether you are just starting out in dentistry or are dental assistant with years of experience. If you have a love for dentistry, are passionate about patient experience, and able to come in every day with an “all-in” attitude, then we want to hear from you! Experience working in a dental office preferred but not required. Dental Assistant Job details: Full time position (4-5 days/week) 7:00am-4:00pm. No evenings or weekends. *Pay will be based upon experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Welcoming patients to their visit with a kind and caring attitude Prepare patients for treatments ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the treatment room clean and well-stocked Skills: Proven experience as a dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Ability to present treatment and finances to patients Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. COA) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Paid time off Profit sharing Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Required) Ability to Commute: Lexington Park, MD (Required) Work Location: In person
