Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Hicksville, NY
We are looking for a competent dental assistant who will make the office more efficient and pleasant for patients. We have 2 dentists and 4 hygienists. Our office hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9 am to 5 pm, Wednesday from 11:45 am to 8pm, and 2 Saturdays a month. The ideal candidate would be bi-lingual (spanish) as well as have at least 1 year dental assisting experience. Responsiblities: Direct office operations for Hygienists and Doctors, meet and greet patients, prepare the operatory for patient arrival Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Keep the dental operatory clean and well-stocked Assist the dentist Skills Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
