Responsibilities Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Take X-rays as needed. Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient satisfaction. Qualifications Certification in dental assisting Knowledge of Dentrix is a plus. Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. Experience with digital X-ray technology and chairside assisting. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
