Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Fort Morgan, CO
We are looking for a dental assistant who is bilingual in Spanish to join our team. Experience in dental assisting is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate who will make the dental office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You'll ensure excellent customer service and you will make sure that all essential functions in the dental practice are carried out. Dental assistants should be well-organized, committed, and help patient's feel comfortable during their visit. ***The hours are great! No nights, weekends or major holidays. Co-workers are professional, but fun to work with!*** Starting minimum pay is $16 per hour, however this will strongly be based on experience. Job duties are: Ensure that patients are comfortable in the dental chair Prepare patients and the work area for treatments and procedures Sterilize dental instruments Hand instruments to dentists during procedures Dry patientsâ mouths using suction hoses and other equipment Instruct patients in proper oral hygiene Process x-rays and complete lab tasks, under the direction of a dentist Keep records of dental treatments Schedule patient appointments Other duties as assigned Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 35 per week Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Work Location: In person
