We are a well established family practice in the North End of Bridgeport. Our patient care is our first priority. Doctor Guerrera's office is located close to the boarder of Bridgeport, Trumbull and Fairfield. Offering a warm friendly working environment. Medical leave of absence Position. Monday and Tuesday's starting Jan 5, 2016. For approximately 6 weeks Ideally looking for someone that can work 2 days a week, maybe an occasional Saturday Morning. Schedule is 8a-5p on Monday's, Tuesdays 8 to 1. with 1hr+ per patient. We are looking for someone to provide dental education by reviewing home care, oral hygiene instructions, and reviewing treatment plans with the patient. Perform dental cleanings, and fluoride dispensing. Follow and practice all OSHA standards regarding infection control and blood borne pathogens. Perform oral cancer screenings and Perio assessments. Chart dental findings. Set-up and breakdown operatories and treatment bays before and after each patient. Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling).
