Overview We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and honest Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our team. Our practice is well-established and we are looking for a motivated professional to be part of our team. Duties Assist the Dental Hygienist with assisted/power hygiene. Assist with periodontal charting. Taking digital x-rays, intra-oral photos, and scans. Completing other preliminary hygiene tasks before hygienist enters the operatory Set up and breakdown of the dental chairs Sterilization of dental instruments Requirements Dental Assisting experience is preferred Proficiency in taking X-rays Familiarity with HIPAA regulations Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work as a team.
