Job Overview Our Client is looking for a friendly, patient, and compassionate Pediatric Dental Hygienist who is exceptionally comfortable working with children of all ages. In this role, you’ll focus on high-volume prophies with scheduling blocks averaging 30–45 minutes, while creating a positive, stress-free experience for every child who sits in your chair. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a calm and reassuring chairside presence, and a natural ability to ease anxiety and build trust with young patients. Starting Salary $45-50/hourly + 10% BONUS AFTER 2K GOAL BENEFITS PTO Vacation/Sick leave Medical $500 CE allowance Bonus structure Dental RESPONSIBILITIES Provide high-quality dental prophylaxis and preventive care within 30–45 minute appointment blocks. Create a warm, engaging, and kid-friendly environment that reduces fear and encourages cooperation. Communicate clearly with both children and parents about oral hygiene, treatment needs, and home-care instructions. Maintain accurate and thorough charting and documentation within practice protocols. Collaborate closely with the dentist and clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow in a high-volume pediatric setting. Support behavior management techniques to help children feel safe and confident during their visit. Follow all infection control, sterilization, and compliance standards. QUALIFICATIONS Valid state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Previous pediatric experience strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills X-Ray certification. Maintaining an optimistic outlook fosters a supportive and encouraging work environment. Being flexible in response to varying patient needs while understanding and addressing patient concerns with compassion. Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced clinic.
