Associate General Dentist – 4–5 Days/Week (1099) Dental Minds – Logan Square, Chicago (2530 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60647) Job Overview Dental Minds is a privately owned, modern dental office in the heart of Logan Square, looking for a full-time Associate General Dentist (4–5 days per week) to join our team as an independent contractor (1099) . We are seeking an experienced clinician who is coachable, growth-minded, and willing to learn and follow our established systems and philosophy of care . This role is ideal for someone who wants to do high-quality dentistry in a structured, well-organized environment, with clear expectations and support. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive general dentistry, including: Exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning Fillings, crowns/bridges, and simple extractions Emergency visits and limited-scope urgent care Clearly explain treatment options and educate patients so they can make informed decisions. Work closely with assistants and front office team to keep the day running smoothly and on time. Maintain accurate, timely clinical notes and adhere to current standards of care. Optional based on experience (not required but welcome): molar endo, clear aligner therapy, implant restoration, and other advanced procedures. Schedule Full-time: 4 or 5 days per week , depending on the candidate’s preference. Schedule follows our current office hours. Exact days and hours will be discussed during the interview; current hours can be found on our website. Compensation 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation: 35% of collected production. All compensation is based on actual collections (office has on avg a 95% collection rate). Qualifications DDS/DMD from an accredited dental school. Active Illinois dental license. DEA license (or ability to obtain promptly). Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in general dentistry after graduation or residency (no new graduates for this role). Solid skills in routine restorative dentistry and comfort managing a productive schedule. Professional, kind chairside manner with strong communication skills. Willingness to learn, take feedback, and adapt to the practice’s systems, protocols, and patient-first philosophy. Team-oriented attitude; low-drama, collaborative working style.
