We are in need of an Orthodontic Chairside Assistant to provide care to our patients as we Create Smiles for Life. This person needs to be self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic. Attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work well under pressure, all while maintaining a high level of customer service are required to succeed in this position. Experience in orthodontics is desired, but dental experience will be considered. This position includes direct patient care that involves all aspects of orthodontics including: taking photos, x-rays, impressions, digital scanning, preparation of teeth for braces, changing wires and appliances, giving instructions to both patients and parents, charting, and being a general advocate for the practice. The position also involves working directly with Dr. Kingry during patient care to produce the treatment results and smiles our office prides itself on. Your attitude must be encouraging and uplifting to patients. You must be willing to support and assist your fellow team members daily as we work together. We have a 4 1/2 day work week, working 8-5 Monday through Thursday, and every other Friday 8-12, with excellent benefits.
