Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting orthodontists in delivering high-quality treatments. This position requires a strong understanding of orthodontic procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, including sterilization of instruments and equipment. Manage patient records, including updating medical terminology and maintaining accurate medical records. Utilize dental technology such as X-Ray machines and 3D scanners to assist in diagnostics and treatment planning. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Support the front office with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing Dolphin software. Qualifications Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant or in a similar dental role is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and dental records management is essential. Proficiency in using X-Ray equipment, 3D scanners, and other dental technology. Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
