Nicholas Yiannios DDS is seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our innovative team. As a Dental Assistant at our cutting-edge practice, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our advanced dental procedures and technologies. Attention to detail is required. Our work week is Monday -Thursday . Duties: - Please review our website and explore some of the innovative procedures Dr. Yiannios offers! - Experience with 4-handed dentistry, assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including prosthodontics and general dentistry, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies such Cerec, and 3D scanners. - Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms for procedures. - Take and record patients' medical histories and vital signs accurately. - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures. - Ensure compliance with medical documentation and HIPAA regulations. - Sterilization, cleaning the operatories and maintain dental equipment. Qualifications: - Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant in a fast-paced dental practice. - Excellent patient care is critical - Proficiency in using Dentrix, and other relevant software systems. - Familiarity with dental terminology and understanding of dental procedures. - Ability to take accurate vital signs and assist with 3D scanning procedures. - Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients. - Certification/Registration in Dental Assisting is required .
