Job Summary Valor Health Group is seeking licensed Dentists to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations for U.S. veterans. These assessments are non-treatment , one-time appointments focused solely on evaluation and completing the appropriate DBQs. About the Role As a contracted Dentist with Valor, you will conduct objective dental examinations to assess service-connected conditions. No cleanings, procedures, diagnostics beyond required DBQs, or ongoing patient care are performed—strictly evaluation and documentation. Duties & Responsibilities Perform structured dental/oral evaluations for C&P exams Review provided medical and dental records as needed Complete standardized VA Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately Follow VA documentation requirements and timelines Maintain objective, evidence-based reporting Ensure a respectful, professional experience for each veteran Requirements DDS or DMD from an accredited program Active, unrestricted state dental license Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to remain objective and focused on evaluation only Prior C&P exam experience helpful but not required Comfortable functioning as an independent contractor (1099) Must have own office space or access to dental office space (ADA/OSHA compliant) Position Details 1099 Independent Contractor Flexible scheduling — choose the days you want to work.
