The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience providing a variety of dental hygiene services, enjoys working in a busy dental office environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a commitment to customer satisfaction, as the Dental Hygienist is often the first point of contact for patients' oral health concerns. Responsibilities: Assist dentist with routine dental procedures and cleaning of teeth. Keep dental office clean, sanitary, and organized. Conduct oral exams and x-rays. Communicate with patients about oral care in a clear, understandable way. Be knowledgeable about periodontal disease and dental treatments. Be knowledgeable about community resources for dental care.
