This is for a Full-time, 4-day 32 hours per week position. As an Orthodontic RDA/OA, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our patients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the orthodontist during exams and procedures and complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate has an orthodontic assistant permit or RDA license and at least 2 years of previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant. Responsibilities Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable Discuss the orthodontic treatment plan with patients and answer any questions they have Prep sterilized instruments and make it available to the orthodontist for exams and procedures Assist the orthodontist during procedures and exams Taking orthodontic records including digital scans Experience with Invisalign Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies Schedule appointments Qualifications Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure or Orthodontic Assistant permit Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required Strong computer and data entry skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to provide high-quality patient care
