Dental Assistant (RDA/DA) – Founding Team Member New Dental Practice Opening in San Leandro (May 2026) We are a new, patient-centered dental practice opening this summer and are looking for the right first team member to grow with us from the ground up. This role is ideal for a dental assistant who is not just looking for a job, but who enjoys building systems, taking ownership, and helping shape a practice from day one. You’ll work closely with the doctor and leadership to establish workflows, create a warm patient experience, and help set the tone for the practice long-term. What we’re looking for: Mid-level experience as a Dental Assistant or RDA (experience preferred, but not rigid) Strong understanding of HIPAA regulation s and health information management standards Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone Entrepreneurial mindset – comfortable helping establish processes and workflows in a new office Well-versed in dental insurance and able to support front/back office coordination as needed X-ray certified (required) Multilingual is a plus (Spanish, Hindi, or other languages strongly welcomed) Warm, friendly, and family-oriented bedside manner Organized, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a startup environment Schedule: Full-time 4-5 days per week Must be available to work on Saturday Compensation & Perks: Above-market pay for the right candidate Opportunity to be a key founding team member Supportive, respectful work environment Room to grow with the practice as it expands If you’re someone who takes pride in your work, enjoys building something meaningful, and wants to be part of a practice from the very beginning, we’d love to hear from you.
