Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Orthodontic Records Technician to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate orthodontic patient records, ensuring seamless documentation and communication within the clinic. AVAILABLE TO WORK ON TUESDAYS AND FRIDAYS Responsibilities Take clinical photos, Panoramic x-rays, 3D scans (iTero) while adhering to infection control and aseptic techniques. Upload records into patient charts Collaborate closely with dental assistants and to prepare chairs for next paitients, and assist in sterilization. Support the dental reception team by managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out processes, answering phone calls. Qualifications Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in orthodontic records management. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic technique. Ability to accurately take orthodontic composite photographs, operate X-ray equipment and 3D scanners while maintaining safety standards. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times.
