Position Overview
As a General Dentist you will provide comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, preventive care, and patient education. The ideal candidate is confident in diagnosing complex cases, communicating treatment recommendations clearly, and developing personalized care plans that prioritize patient health and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive oral examinations and diagnose dental conditions accurately
- Develop and present detailed treatment plans tailored to patient needs
- Deliver high-quality general dentistry procedures, including:
- Fillings and restorative treatment
- Crowns and bridges
- Extractions
- Preventive and periodontal care
- Cosmetic procedures as appropriate
- Educate patients on treatment options, oral health, and preventive care
- Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate effectively with hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff
- Uphold infection control, safety, and compliance standards
- Build trust and maintain positive long-term patient relationships
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active California dental license in good standing
- Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and chairside manner
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Experience with digital dentistry and modern practice technology preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience preferred, but motivated new graduates may be considered
