Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized according to infection control protocols. Take dental radiographs (X-ray images), ensuring accurate positioning and patient safety in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Manage patient records using Eaglesoft, documenting treatment details accurately and securely. Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Educate patients on oral health care instructions, post-treatment care, and preventive practices tailored to pediatric or adult patients. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by adhering to aseptic techniques, infection control standards, and proper handling of dental equipment like 3D scanners and medical imaging devices. Qualifications Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting with familiarity in general dentistry procedures preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members including dental receptionists, hygienists, and specialists in areas like prosthodontics or endodontics.
