Schedule Office is open Tuesday through Saturday Seeking coverage for 3 days per week Approximately 8-hour shifts Compensation Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and clinical skillset. Pay is negotiable after the initial 90-day period. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional preventive and periodontal care while helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their treatment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to educate patients on personalized treatment recommendations and long-term oral health. A hygienist certified in local anesthesia and comfortable performing scaling and root planing is highly preferred due to the patient population we serve. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and periodontal charting Review and update medical histories Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling, and root planing Take diagnostic radiographs and vital signs as needed Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols Collaborate closely with the doctor and team to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient experiences Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technology Qualifications Active Dental Hygiene license Local anesthesia certification preferred Experience with SRPs and periodontal therapy preferred Familiarity with Open Dental software is a plus Strong communication and patient education skills Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude New graduates are welcome to apply If you are looking for a supportive private practice where you can grow professionally, build meaningful patient relationships, and be part of a positive team culture, we would love to hear from you.
