Endodontic Dental Assistant Location: SW Portland, OR Job Type: Full-Time (Monday-Thursdays); Fridays as needed 6:45AM to 4:30PM/end of day Pay: $28â$30 per hour (depending on experience) About Us We are a modern, patient-focused endodontic specialty practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in a compassionate and professional environment. Our team values teamwork, efficiency, and outstanding patient experiences. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable assisting with endodontic procedures while helping patients feel calm and supported throughout treatment. Responsibilities Assist the endodontist during root canal and surgical procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories Take digital radiographs and CBCT scans Maintain accurate patient records and charting Educate patients on post-operative care instructions Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control standards Manage supplies and maintain treatment rooms Support front office duties as needed Qualifications Dental Assistant certification required Oregon X-Ray Certification EFDA certification preferred but not required Previous endodontic or specialty dental experience preferred Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Experience with digital imaging and dental software What We Offer: Competitive compensation package that includes health insurance, life insurance, paid & sick time off, holiday pay, and 401k with matching Potential for monthly performance bonuses!
