Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canal therapy, extractions, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing dental terminology and medical records to develop effective treatment plans. Utilize dental imaging technology and anatomical knowledge to diagnose oral health issues accurately. Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Document all medical and dental procedures precisely in electronic health records (Dentrix Ascend) while complying with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment options to promote long-term dental health. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to improve efficiency and patient comfort. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties through ongoing education. Experience At least 5 year experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is preferred. Prior experience performing dental extractions, molar root canal therapy, implants, and other complex procedures is advantageous. Knowledge of infection control standards, medical imaging techniques, and anatomy is essential for delivering safe patient care. Working with diverse patient populations is a plus. Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation requirements ensures accurate medical records management.
