Office Description: General dentistry practice seeking full-time dental assistant. This office has funny co-workers, the days go by quickly and enjoyably. The dentists are a husband/wife team, and their actions show they respect and consider the team in their decisions. The Mrs Doctor loves coffee and memes. The Mr Doctor thinks he can fix anything. The existing RDH loves ketchup on everything. The dental healthcare provided is beautiful, and there is no pressure to "sell dentistry". The patient population is mostly sweet peaches with minimal sour peaches. The team is paid well and always on time. Full scope general dentistry is performed, digital xray sensors, Eaglesoft practice management software. Dental Assistant should be able to explain dental treatment and educate the patient. Intraoffice communication is key. Computer skills are required, teamwork is critical. Job duties : MUST BE EXCELLENT AT CHAIRSIDE ASSISTING. The dentists are experienced. 4-handed dentistry is practiced to provide a full scope of restorative, crown and bridge, full mouth reconstruction, cosmetic, surgical, endodontic, and implant cases. Chairside assisting with expanded functions, temporary fabrication, entering treatment plans, record keeping, infection control, answering phones, supply/inventory, housekeeping, etc. Attendance is mandatory , as every role is critical in a small team. Compensation includes hourly pay, holiday pay, group health insurance, Retirement plan with Match, PTO.
