Responsibilities

Ability to connect with patients and build relationships is essential.
Compassionately perform dental hygiene procedures while ensuring comfort of patient.
Educates patients; partners with dentist on treatment planning, presenting, and scheduling.
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Attention to detail
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and be well educated in dentistry and dental hygiene.
Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient

Position Requirements

Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
Proficient in Dentrix
X-ray Certification
Local Anesthetic Certificate
Attention to detail
Laser Certification
Arizona Dental Hygiene license
Current CPR certification
At least 2 years as an RDH
