Our goal is to provide simple, honest dental care to our patients. We want to make dental visits enjoyable and something for our patients to look forward to. The tasks and duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Greeting patients by name and in a welcoming manner as they arrive and welcoming patients to the practice.
  • Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
  • Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
  • Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
  • Maintaining and updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
  • Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders.
  • Communicating with dental insurance providers to determine if patients are required to make co-payments.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits as needed
  • Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
  • Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, and faxing.
  • Handle office documents in an organized and timely manner
  • Follow office protocols as they are discussed as a team
