The treatment coordinator’s primary duty is to present treatment plans to patients and ensure that patients schedule in adherence with Brighter Way Institute’s collection policy. Responsibilities include answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties. What are we looking for: Minimum Requirements High School degree or equivalent. 2 years of relevant experience in customer service. Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in computer and keyboarding skills in a MS Office based environment As the Treatment Coordinator, you’ll play a big role in the success of delivering an exceptional patient experience. Your compassion and understanding of a patient’s needs and financial capabilities are part of what brings our patients back time and again. Knowledge and Abilities: Present comprehensive & phased treatment plans. Understand insurance eligibility, benefits and claims. Correctly post accounts receivables. Follow-through on pending treatment plans. Have a working knowledge of Dentrix G6, or higher. Being the practice’s financial expert, you’ll help patients understand just how affordable dental care needs can be. Ensuring they understand their financial obligation contributes to the overall team approach and success of our mission to improve the health of communities one bright smile at a time. Knowledge of excellent phone etiquette and exceptional customer service standards. Knowledge of MS Office software; Word, Excel, and Outlook. Social perceptiveness skills to be aware of others’ reactions and understanding why they react as they do. Active listening skills to give full attention to what other people are saying, to take time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Ability to communicate effectively when speaking and/or writing, to respond quickly/ thoroughly to maximize customer satisfaction to common inquiries, complaints, or billing inquiries from patients, third party insurance personnel, co-workers, and other visitors to the company. Ability to multi-task, organize/coordinate/prioritize work efficiently and to work under stress, with interruptions and deadlines; to concentrate on a task over a period of time, without being distracted. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on assigned tasks, as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
