We are a private pediatric dental practice with two pediatric dentists, and we do mostly preventive treatment. We are a very easy-going, kind team. Dr. Brent Ingram’s dental practice in San Jose is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and motivated Full-Time Back Office Dental Assistant to join our growing team! If you are passionate about providing excellent patient care and have a strong background in assisting with dental procedures, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take and develop X-rays
• Maintain patient records and charting
• Ensure the treatment area is clean, organized, and ready for use
• Provide patients with excellent customer service and help ensure they feel comfortable during visits
• Educate patients on oral health and post-treatment care
• Maintain a positive and efficient workflow in the office

Qualifications:

• Dental Assistant Certification (DANB or State of California certification preferred)
• X-ray certification (required)
• 1-2 years of dental assisting experience preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of dental office procedures and sterilization protocols
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Must enjoy having fun, bringing positive energy, and laughing throughout the day — a great sense of humor is a must!

Work Hours:

• Monday: 7:40 AM – 5:30 PM
• Tuesday: 7:15 AM – 4:30 PM
• Wednesday: 7:40 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:40 AM – 5:30 PM

Pay Range:

$33 – $36 per hour, depending on experience

Our dental office aims to deliver high quality dentistry in a setting and pace that is compassionate for our patients and staff. This is a full time position in a General and Cosmetic Dental office located Mountain View, CA. Our office hours are:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm lunch between 12:00-1:30pm
• Wednesday 10:00am-7:00pm lunch between 1:30-3:00pm

• Chair-side assisting
• Sterilization
• Setting up/breaking down operatories
• Taking impressions and pouring models
• Taking x-rays (full mouth and bite-wings)
• Scheduling appointments

Pay:

• Hourly range of $20.00 to $36.00 per hour based on experience and skill

Experience/Skills:

• Dental Assisting: At least 1 year
• RDA License Required
• Xray License Required
• Cerec Machine & iTero Scanning Knowledge
• Dentrix and Dexis knowledge
• YAPI knowledge a plus --- used for inter-office communication

We are looking to hire a fulltime dental asistant at our dental clinic. We are fully digital practice, using Open Dental practice software, NOMAD for radiography and Trios/Itero scanners for most dental work. Our patients are a mix of self and insurance pay. We offer Prosthodontics, Periodontics, limited Oral Surgery, Sleep Dentistry and general dentistry.

Qualifications:

• RDA/DA
• Certified in Coronal Polishing (Required)
• Certificate in Radiation Safety (Required)
• Certificate in Infection Control (Required)
• Certified in CPR/BLS (Required)
• Minimum 2 yrs Dental Assisting experience
• Other dental certifications and skills are a plus

Hours:

• Full time
• Mon- Fri
• Closed most Tues and all weekends
• 8:30-5:30 (Actual Patient care 9-5)
• 50 mins Lunch Break

Compensation:

• $30-$37
• Varies with qualification (RDA/DA) and experience
