Key Responsibilities

• Deliver thorough, gentle preventive and periodontal hygiene care within a standard 1-hour appointment structure.
• Capture intraoral photos and digital scans to enhance patient understanding and treatment acceptance.
• Educate patients on custom oral hygiene routines and proactively discuss preventive solutions like fluoride and Curodont.
• Perform comprehensive periodontal charting, clinical evaluations, and present clear findings to both the patient and doctor.
• Turn over, clean, and prepare hygiene operatories efficiently between patients to keep the day on track.

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Excellent clinical skills, detail orientation, and time management.
• A self-motivated, proactive approach to patient care and daily operations.

Small friendly, privately owned dental office in Porter Ranch, CA is looking for a RDH to join our team.

We are PPO-only pactice ( no HMO) with relaxed, supportive work environment and very friendly manageable schedule of approximately 6-8 patients per day.

• Imaging & Support: Take digital X-rays (with proper certification), maintain accurate electronic charting, manage lab cases, and keep supplies organized.

Qualifications

• No previous dental experience required—complete on-the-job training provided!
• Current X-ray / Radiation Safety certification and CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong attention to detail and a team-first mindset.
