We are looking for someone who is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing excellent patient care.

Position

• Title: Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
• Location: Aliso Viejo, CA
• Schedule: Mon, Tue, Thur Friday ( 2 saturday a month )
• Experience: Experience preferred / New RDAs welcome

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments
• Take dental X-rays and perform other RDA duties as permitted
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards
• Provide a welcoming and comfortable experience for patients
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical office duties
• Help keep the office organized and running efficiently

Qualifications

• Current California RDA license
• Current required certifications and permits

Responsibilities

• Oral Health & Periodontal Assessment: Record vital signs, screen for oral cancer, evaluate tissue health, and perform full-mouth periodontal probing.

• Prophylaxis & Periodontal Therapy: Perform ultrasonic and manual scaling to remove plaque, calculus, and stains, including deep scaling and root planing (SRP).

• Diagnostic Imaging: Expose and process diagnostic bitewings, periapicals, and panoramic/CBCT radiographs.

• Preventive Treatments: Apply topical fluorides, place pit-and-fissure sealants, apply desensitizers, and deliver localized antimicrobials.

• Patient Education: Instruct patients on proper brushing, flossing, nutritional habits, and the systemic-oral health connection.

• Clinical Documentation: Chart periodontal depths, update medical and medication histories, and log completed treatments in the practice management software.

• Sterilization & Infection Control: Maintain operatory disinfection, sterilize instruments, and uphold strict OSHA/CDC safety standards.

• Prior dental assisting experience required
• $20+/hour depending on experience
