Job Description

TITLE: Appointment Coordinator DEPARTMENT: Operations REPORTS TO: Office Manager PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: • Provides patients with excellent customer service • Managing patient appointments from reminder calls to final check out • Updating and managing patient records • Retrieving insurance benefit information • Assist patient check in/check out • Perform other duties as requested QUALIFICATIONS: • High School Diploma with 2+ years of dental appointment coordinator experience • Knowledge of dental terminology • Knowledge of dental office procedures • Knowledge of insurance plans and claims processing • Knowledge of DentiMax or similar software often required • Knowledge of MS Office • Ability to multi-task • Must be Bilingual, Spanish • Excellent communication skills; planning and organizing skills; problem analysis and problem solving skills; judgment and decision-making skills; integrity; teamwork; customer service orientation COMPENSATION: Hourly
