Getting Started

Frequently asked questions about creating and managing a candidate account.

How do I create a candidate account?

Creating a candidate account is easy! We'll ask you a few simple questions to get your account setup. Click here to get started.

For more information on getting started, please see our candidate tutorials.

Nothing! For candidates, it's free to sign up and free to apply to jobs.

After you register, we'll ask you for some additional information so we know what types of job opportunities you're looking for. After that you can begin applying for permanent jobs.

If you'd like to apply for temporary jobs, we'll need a bit more info (e.g., your availability, hourly rate, etc.) so we can match you to appropriate temporary requests.

In either case, your profile will be showcased in front of hundreds of local employers who are looking for temporary or permanent dental professionals just like you.

Expect to receive emails and texts inviting you to job opportunities that match your profile. Accept those you like, decline those you don't. You can also visit our job board and apply to posted listings.

You can inactivate your account easily from your account settings. You may also reactivate your account at any time.

Your Candidate Profile

Frequently asked questions about managing your candidate profile and preferences.

Can I change my profile after I create it?

Of course! We recommend you keep your profile up to date and modify it as your information or availibility changes. This will help us match you with the most relevant job opportunities.

You can easily indicate which days you're unavailable on your calendar or when editing your profile. You can block of entire days of the week (e.g., not available on all Sundays) or block off individual dates.

You won't be selectable on dates you've excluded. By keeping your availability up to date, we'll be able to match you with more relevant jobs.

Temporary Job Requests

Frequently asked questions about temping with our service.

How do I apply for temporary jobs?

Once your profile is active, search for temporary dental jobs on our job board. We'll try to show you jobs that are relevant to your skills and availability.

Employers can also directly select you for temporary job opportunities. When they do, we'll notify you so you can decide to accept or decline the request.

First, check that your profile shows you're available for temporary jobs.

Next, ensure your profile looks attractive to potential employers, including a well written bio and headshot. Statistics show that candidates who include photos are selected 12 times as often as candidates who do not.

Each temporary request we send you needs a response. It only takes a second to accept or decline.

Not responding will reflect poorly on your profile ranking and response rate. This can lead to less opportunities in the future.

Our dental staffing software uses a prorietary algorithm to try to match each candidate with the most relevant jobs for them based on a variety of factors.

If you are no longer seeing any temporary jobs, then you might not be eligible for temping at this time. this ineligibility may be temporary, so check back in a few weeks.

Temporary jobs fill quickly! Employers often request more than one candidate for a single temporary position and the first candidate to accept gets the job.

Don't get frustrated if you're finding that the job is already filled by the time you click the link. Try to get to the next job quicker and don't give up!

If you're unable to make it to a job on time, notify the employer as soon as possible with your estimated time of arrival.

Lateness may result in the employer cancelling the assignment without compensation.

Late arrivals may also affect your ranking.

We know that things happen, so if you can't make it to a job you've accepted, please cancel as soon as possible from the job page. Do not call the employer to cancel. You must cancel the job through our site.

Once you cancel your acceptance of a job, we'll immediately begin working to find another candidate to fill the opportunity.

Here's how to cancel a job:

  1. Visit your jobs page and click into the job you want to cancel.
    Candidate upcoming jobs
  2. In the cancellation box, click Yes, cancel my acceptance
    Candidate canceling acceptance of job

In certain situations, it's possible to forget, or be unable, to cancel your acceptance of a job. However, remembering to cancel in these cases is crucial to allow us to fill the slot with another candidate.

If you don't show up for a job you've committed to, you are considered a no-show. Being a no-show will permanently affect your ranking and may affect your eligibility to temp with us.

If you're unable to cancel a job because of reasons beyond your control, please contact us and we will review the case.

Cancelling too many jobs will affect your ranking and may result in temporary or permanent ineligibility to temp through our dental staffing platform.

We encourage you to only cancel if absolutely necessary and try to provide as much notice ahead of time as you can.

Never ask an employer to cancel for you. Doing so may result in the suspension of your account.

Employers are responsible for paying you upon completion of an assignment. While we encourage employers to issue payment at the end of the shift, they are allowed up to 10 business days to process your payment.

If you have questions regarding the payment practices for a particular assignment, discuss this with your employer before accepting or starting any position.

You may need to fill out legal forms in order to be paid by an employer. You may also be responsible for your own payroll taxes.

Our Employers

Frequently asked questions about our dental employers.

When I get hired, does the doctor pay a fee?

No! Unlike many services, doctors are not charged when they hire you. So they will be as excited as you are!

Please remember to inactivate your account if you accept a job and are no longer in need of work.

We take your safety very seriously! We reach out to each and every employer to make sure that the guidance provided by the ADA, OSHA and local government is being adhered to, which includes providing the necessary PPE's to staff.

If you require a particular type of PPE, we recommend you bring it with you to any jobs you work.

If you ever run into a situation that feels unsafe, please let us know immediately.
