Job Description

Our Family Dental Practice is looking for an experienced dental assistant for helping with a solo dentist. Office hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday, Tuesday,Thursday, and every other Saturday also 2 Wednesday in a month. Responsibilities: -Experienced with taking digital x-rays, dental impressions, -Provide outstanding customer service for the patient; excellent chair side manner.- -Instrument sterilization, setup/sterilization of treatment rooms and facility in an efficient, timely manner -Positive attitude and exceptional communication skills (hand-offs, Patient Education), desire to learn and grow -Team Player, support and be an important part of practice's vision for growth -Professional appearance, provide concierge customer service in building patient relationships -Assist the doctor with all dental procedures -Create minimum patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, ready to work at all assigned shift times. -Help clean the office and treatment rooms. -Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment as well as transcribe doctor notes in patient chart -Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance -Follow organizations safety policies and procedures Qualifications: -Certified Dental Assistant -X-ray certified in Arizona and able to consistently take quality digital x-rays -Prior DA Experience ( 1 year or more ) -Bilingual (Spanish). -Orthodontic Experience is a Plus.
