We’re currently seeking an experienced dental assistant to provide clinical dental care, while upholding our company’s values of professionalism and high standards for care quality. You’ll need to balance a friendly bedside manner and professional demeanor while assisting our highly skilled dentists with administrative tasks, clinical patient care, and radiology.

Role
- Clean and stock treatment rooms, and ensure that tools are properly sterilized after use
- Welcome and reassure patients; lighten the atmosphere during procedures
- Assist in dental preparations
- Administer anesthetics and place dental dams before procedures begin
- Pass dentists’ tools as needed, and mix cements and other materials during procedures
- Manage all cleanliness and housekeeping tasks in assigned examination areas
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards
- Guide and train less experienced dental assistants, gladly offering answers and help
- Prepare, update, and discharge paperwork concerning dental visits and/or referrals
- Adapt to mishaps calmly and collaborate efficiently with dentists to smooth things over without distressing patients

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent level of education (Required)
- Registered Dental Assistant certification (Required)
- Graduation from a dental assisting school (Preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in dental assistance (Required)
- Highly professional attitude, customer service, and bedside skills
- Proficiency in workflow software like Eaglesoft
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of radiology with the ability to perform x-rays
- Administrative and clerical abilities
- Quick and clear communication skills
- Interpersonal finesse with a willingness to provide instruction, clarification, and mentorship
- Good spatial reasoning and confidence with four-handed dentistry techniques
