Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Associate Dentist for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.
You will be responsible for providing exceptional oral health care to patients of all ages. You will diagnose, treat, and prevent dental issues, such as cavities, gum disease, and oral cancer. You will also be responsible for educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, providing preventive care, and developing individualized treatment plans. With your exceptional communication skills, you will be able to build strong relationships with patients and their families, and ensure a positive experience. Job Responsibilities
• Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and injuries of teeth, gums, and mouth
• Clean and fill cavities
• Repair cracked or fractured teeth
• Extract teeth
• Provide preventive care, such as cleaning and applying sealants and fluorides
• Educate patients on proper oral health habits and nutrition
• Prescribe medications, such as antibiotics and pain relievers
• Perform root canals, crowns, bridges, and other restorative procedures
• Administer anesthetics and perform other surgical procedures
• Maintain patient records and compile data for research or grant applications
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Refer patients to other healthcare professionals, such as orthodontists and oral surgeons
Job Requirements
• Must be licensed as a Dentist in the state in which they practice or be willing to become licensed
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be knowledgeable in the latest dental practices and procedures
• Must have an in-depth knowledge of oral anatomy and physiology
• Must be able to diagnose and treat dental problems
• Must be proficient in the use of dental instruments and equipment
• Must have excellent knowledge of dental materials
• Must be able to provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive dentistry
• Must have strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Must be a team player and be able to work with other healthcare professionals
• Must be able to handle stressful situations
• Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work with a variety of patients
• Must adhere to all HIPAA regulations and dental board codes of conduct
