Dr. Bret Standage and Dr. Craig Standage at Pima Dental is looking to hire a full time assistant to join our upbeat, professional dental team.
We are a private practice in a modern office located at 101 & Shea Blvd.
Full-time, 35-40 hours.
Applicants must be team players, enthusiastic and professional.
Our practice believes in quality dentistry, where patients come first.
We also believe in having fun as we are a "true family" practice.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients in the dental office
- Prepare patients for treatment or checkup ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
- Sterilize instruments
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Take x-rays as needed
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Skills
- Proven experience as dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
