Orthodontic Dental Assistant needed at Kidtastic Pediatric Dental

Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Ortho Dental Assistant for an opportunity to join our dedicated team. 

Who We Are
Kidtastic Pediatric Dental believes in providing the best care possible for our pediatric patients. This position requires travel between the 3 offices and 1 GP office within our group.

Who We're Looking For
An extraordinary team member with a can-do attitude and skilled in orthodontics. You should be comfortable with bonding, making retainers, taking impressions and iTero scans, and should have exceptional leadership skills to effectively lead a clinical team. You should also be comfortable speaking and treating pediatric patients and adults.

Responsibilities

2 Days Prior to Live Day

□       Verify lab cases are on site or will be arriving prior to live day

□       Verify schedules with Ortho Manager and Doctor and identify any areas of concern

 

Live Ortho Day

□       Lead team in morning huddle at 15 mins before first patient

o   Identify what assistants will be working adjustments, starts, debonds, and consults throughout the day

o   Identify scheduling conflicts or potential issues and help team come up with solutions

o   Confirm lab cases are on site and

□       Be primary person handling consults and same days starts with provider

□       Ensure patients are brought back on time and step in to help team members if they are behind

□       Responsible for running an efficient schedule with the team and doctor

□       In-between patients:

o   Check sterile and run instruments (team effort)

o   Assist with Consult Tracker follow up

o   Place orders for locations

o   Check case status

EOD

□       Site Checklist completed with Ortho Manager

□       Meet with team at EOD Huddle to discuss next ortho day at that location and report any potential conflicts you may see so game plan can be created. Discuss tomorrow’s schedule and game plan flow and confirm cases on premises at that location


Travel schedule is as follows:
Monday and Thursday Gilbert 8am-5pm
Tuesday 10am-7pm, Friday 8am-5pm San Tan
Wednesdays alternate Mesa 8am-5pm / Chandler 9am-6pm
