Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional RDH for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.

Smallish office looking to add a 2nd RDH 3-4 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Role Accountability & Key Competencies
  • Executes patient screening procedures such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of
  the health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting and taking
  blood pressure and pulse.
  • Takes and develops dental radiographs (x-rays).
  • Removes calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth.
  • May administer local anesthesia based on licensing restrictions.
  • Applies preventive materials to the teeth such as sealants and fluorides.
  • Teaches patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health such as tooth
  brushing and flossing.
  • Counsels patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health.
  • Makes impressions of patients' teeth for study casts.
  • Performs documentation and office management activities.
  • Sets up and prepares dental equipment and instrumentation in accordance with established
  regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintains patient confidence and protect operations by keeping patient care information
  confidential.
