Job Description
Description:
Preparing patients for dental work.
Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
Assisting Dentist with procedures when necessary.
Providing great patient care.
Recording treatment information in patient records.
Performing dental x-rays from dental diagnostics and caring for dental x-ray equipment.
Giving patients information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and aftercare.
Caring for dental equipment.
Scanning for preliminary impressions for retainers, appliances, and tray systems.
Maintain before and after daily duties to include the clinic, lab, and sterilization.
Requirements:
At least 6 months to 1 year of orthodontic dental assisting experience is required
Must be familiar with the Damon Bracket System
Must be familiar with the Iterro Scanner
Knowledge of Invisalign/Spark Aligners
Must be able to travel between both office locations.
