Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health.
Duties:
- Conduct dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Perform patient assessments and document medical records- Take and record vital signs- Implement aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety- Assist with dental coding and billing procedures- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions
Skills:
- Proficiency in Open Dental or similar dental software systems- Strong knowledge of medical documentation and record-keeping- Ability to perform patient assessments and assist with procedures- Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes- Knowledge of aseptic techniques for infection control- Provide superior patient care and customer service by making the patient the #1 priority
