Job Description
Faith Based Family Health Care Center in search of a full-time (40 hrs per week) Dental Hygienist or Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner to join our growing team of medical/dental providers. The Hygienist will be responsible for providing preventative, therapeutic and intraoral services with or without the supervision of a dentist or the Dental Director. The Hygienist will appropriately assess, treat and provide patient education dental hygiene and disease processes that affect dental health.

Qualifications:
Dental Hygienist or PHDHP Certification and Dental anesthesia license required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the role of a Hygienist/PHDHP highly preferred.
Community clinic experience a plus.
Job Responsibilities
Assess dental condition and needs of patient including examination of head, neck, and oral cavity for disease.
Responsible for dental prophylaxis, topical fluoride application, sealants, radiographs, patient education including oral health instruction and the plaque control program.
Providing routine preventive and periodontal treatment for new and existing patients.
Accurate documentation and maintenance of patient records.
Other responsibilities as necessary.
