Job Description
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your main responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, conducting oral examinations, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. Responsibilities:- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including removing plaque and calculus from teeth- Conduct comprehensive oral examinations to identify any signs of oral diseases or abnormalities- Take and develop dental x-rays and other diagnostic images as needed- Administer local anesthesia to patients when necessary- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing materials and instruments- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as needed- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
- Diagnose malocclusions and refer to in house Orthodontist- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques
Requirements:- Valid Dental Hygiene license in [state]- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- Proficiency in dental practice management systems, such as Dentrix- Knowledge of medical coding and HIPAA regulations- Experience with medical imaging software for dental x-rays- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and procedures- Excellent knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
We offer competitive compensation based on experience. FULL TIME or PART TIME options.
You will have chance to make up to $150K per year. We have very nice community and huge patient flow.
