Job Description
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, and help to ensure patients receive quality care.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for dental work- Sterilize dental instruments- Assist dentists during procedures- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene- Maintain accurate patient records
Experience:The ideal candidate should possess some or all of the following skills:- Proficiency in Dentrix or software (we will train if needed)- Ability to take vital signs- Familiarity with aseptic techniques in a dental setting- Experience with medical records management- Previous work as a dental receptionist is a plus- Understanding of infection control protocols- handing off patient to the front desk team when appointment completed - - A positive attitude , willingness to work and attention to detail are crucial to the position.
