Job Description

Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Take and record patients' vital signs- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Take dental X-rays and process them for the dentist's review- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
Experience:- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred- Knowledge of dental anatomy and medical terminology- Proficiency in using dental software systems (e.g., Epic)- Familiarity with taking dental X-rays and processing them- Strong understanding of infection control procedures and practices
Skills:- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work well in a team environment- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills- Compassionate and caring demeanor towards patients- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
