Job Description

Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits- Take and record patients' medical and dental histories- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and trimming impressions
- Ability to fabricate temporary crowns- Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years dental chairside experience.- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program preferred
- Prefer R.D.A.- X-ray certification required- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments- Proficiency in using dental software systems (e.g., Epic)- Familiarity with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with heavy crown and bridge, implant placement, oral surgery assisting, a plus.
