Job Description

```Duties```- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the patient and the necessary instruments and materials- Take and develop dental x-rays- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring models and trimming plaster casts- Maintain accurate patient records and update dental history as necessary- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the dental office
```Skills```- Proficient in dental terminology and coding- Strong assisting skills in various dental procedures, including crown & bridge, endodontics, oral surgery and implant placement- Knowledge of dental imaging techniques and equipment- Familiarity with dental assisting techniques and procedures, including making temporary crowns- Ability to maintain and organize dental records- Solid understanding of human anatomy and oral health- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
Minimum 3 years of dental chairside experience. Prefer RDA or DA with significant experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
