We are a dental office in the Murrieta area. We are looking for a dental assistant to join our team. We are seeking someone who has worked in the dental field as an assistant MINIMUM 2 YEARS in general dentistry. We can provide training if needed. The right candidate must be punctual and have strong work ethics.
Being a team player is a must!
Wage is commensurate to experience in the field.
Responsibilities:- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Take and develop dental X-rays- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
Experience:- Prior experience in a dental office setting required- Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices- Proficiency in using dental software- Experience with X-Ray procedures- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist is a plus- Experience working with pediatric patients is advantageous
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
