Job Description
We are currently searching for a Dental Assistant Instructor driven by the success of student achievements. It is the philosophy of High Desert Medical College to provide a unique educational path for students that will lead to successful job performance and job satisfaction in the health care industry.
Preferred qualified candidates should have the ability to:
Present well prepared facilitative classroom lectures and activities consistent with the course syllabus.
Promote the development and effective use of skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, computation, problem solving and decision-making.
Evaluate student preparation and assessments.
Provide students with timely academic information and feedback.
Maintain professional integrity
Job Requirements
Certification or license (preferred)
Dental Assistant with at least three (3) years experience in the medical/dental field (ACCET)
Prior adult instructional experience is preferred, but not required
Front and Back medical office skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
Excellent communication skills
Consistently display the highest levels of integrity
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
Dental Assisting: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
CPR Certification (Required)
Registered Dental Assistant (Required)
