Our specialty dental practice is seeking energetic, dependable team members to join our growing patient-focused organization. Our doctors treat patients with TMJ pain and dysfunction; head, neck and facial pain; headaches and migraines; sleep disorders; and medically related oral and maxillofacial conditions.
Who We Are
Orofacial pain, oral medicine and dental seep medicine are recently-recognized new specialties in dentistry, but Southwest Orofacial Group has been established in the Valley and providing these services for several decades.
Who We're Looking For: Experience in our specialty is not required!
Our ideal candidates will possess:
- Minimum 2 years dental assisting experience
- Experience using practice software and charting patient appointments
- Intraoral scanning experience is a BIG plus
- AZ Radiography certification is required
- Excellent verbal communication and patient relations skills
- Must be team-oriented and always willing to learn new procedures and techniques.

Responsibilities
- Review patient schedules each morning and prepare for treatments and procedures to be performed
- Greet and room patients, take vitals, document health history, medications, allergies, etc.
- Communicate, educate and instruct patients on treatment, expectations and home care.
- Assist doctors with all elements of patient care and procedures, including: performing oral examinations, taking impressions and scans, seating oral appliances, delivering trigger point injections. Chart examinations and procedures using our electronic software.
- Perform sterilization of equipment, instruments and exam rooms. Restock supplies in treatment rooms.
