Phoenix, Arizona March 15, 2020 — Princess Dental Staffing announces the winner of its dental scholarship for the Spring 2021 semester.
The scholarship program is for students passionate about a career in a dental field, including dentistry, dental hygiene, and dental assisting.
Crystal Smith is the most recent recipient of the award.
Crystal Smith is currently a second year dental student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. During dental school, Crystal currently serves as the Class President for the Class of 2023, Secretary of the Academy of General Dentistry - Alabama Student Chapter, and as Program Coordinator for the UAB School of Dentistry Esthetic Dentistry Club. In July of 2021, Crystal will begin her D3 clinical experience within the UAB SOD clinic.
Beyond graduation in 2023, Crystal wishes to use her dental practice to provide excellent dental care to the underserved populations of Alabama. In her personal life, Crystal enjoys focusing on a healthy school-life balance by spending time with her fiancé, attending daily workout classes, and seeks regular involvement in volunteer activities within the Birmingham community.
The Princess Dental Staffing Dental Scholarship is currently open to undergraduates and high school seniors for the Fall semester 2021. A $500 scholarship will be awarded.
The Princess Dental Staffing Professional Scholarship is for students pursuing careers in dentistry including dentists, dental assistants, dental hygienists. These scholarships support dental students who demonstrate a firm commitment to becoming dental educators in their community.
