Responsibilities

Comprehensive Dental Hygiene: Perform thorough dental hygiene assessments, including screenings for oral diseases, periodontal conditions, and overall oral health

Implement preventive measures to maintain and improve patients' oral hygiene

Dental Cleanings: Conduct professional dental cleanings to remove plaque, tartar, and stains, contributing to the prevention of gum disease and cavities

Patient Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and other preventive measures

Periodontal Therapy: Administer periodontal treatments as needed, including scaling and root planing, to address gum disease and support overall oral health

Digital Radiography: Capture and interpret dental X-rays to aid in the diagnosis and treatment planning process

Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive dental care

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting findings, treatment plans, and relevant information
