JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assist the dentist efficiently while being able to provide an exceptional patient experience during dental treatment.
Full time
Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5pm. 
No weekends 
No nights

**We provide paid training to adjust to office policies as needed!**
REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT ROLE:

Provide patients with an exceptionally high-quality patient experience that cannot be found anywhere else.
Personable attitude that can connect with patients and make them feel like a friend/family member within the practice.
Read patient charts prior to their appointments to be aware of any preferences or previous dental procedures.
Maintain knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
Encourage patients by providing information about dental procedures as well as the value of necessary treatment.
Make adjustments for patients according to their body language and facial expressions during visit.
Digital x-rays (open bitewings, apex of teeth, comfortable for patient, timely manner).
iTero scans average 5-10 minutes.
Sterilize instruments as needed.
Perio-charting for hygiene as needed.
Provide proper patient handoff to front desk/treatment coordinator in regards to any changes in treatment, future visits, or treatment that was diagnosed.
Utilize active listening and attention to detail to be able to relay information between team members to provide an ideal experience for patients.
Maintain supplies by consistently restocking rooms with supplies and dental materials.
Offer complimentary amenities to comfort patients, constantly check in with patients during procedure.
Follow up with patients who may have delayed treatment during downtime.
QUALIFICATIONS:

1 years minimum experience in dental assisting
Digital x-rays (open bitewings, apex of teeth, comfortable for patient, timely manner)
iTero scanning
Temporary crowns
High-quality customer service and communication skills
Certificate in dental assisting from an accredited program
BLS Certificate
X-Ray License
Coronal Polishing Certificate
Infection Control
CA Dental Practice Act
